Maintaining Clear Skin With Help From Caudalie Paris Vinosource Moisturizer - Makeup and Beauty Blog
I don't talk about skin intendance enough, considering how much fourth dimension and money I really invest into it. And I actually get lots of compliments on my pare too! Just earlier I found a regimen that worked, I had a very bad case of cystic acne that would flare up over and over again, like clockwork. The same areas would break out, heal, and so break out once more.
My current dark routine helps continue my pare happy, and now my peel is pretty much blotch-complimentary…except for at this very moment, of course, because the Universe is a funny identify. Just by and large these days I only need to focus on healing the damaged skin (can yet expect scarlet and raw), exfoliating, and moisturizing.
Skin Prep: The Cleanse
The most important function of my nighttime routine involves removing every stitch of makeup before I go to bed. I won't go too into detail, but I double cleanse, either using a makeup wipe + cleanser or cleansing water + cleansing oil, and I also ever remove my heart makeup separately with a bi-phase product. Sunscreen and waterproof eyeliner remove easier with split, targeted products, just your skin intendance products won't exercise a affair for you if there's still makeup sitting on your skin throughout the night.
Layer, Layer, Layer
These next few products are the exfoliants and serums I layer under the moisturizer…
Exfoliants have washed THE most for my skin. Instead of using a physical scrub, I obsess over my Clinique Balmy Clarifying Lotion ($xiv). It'southward super gentle merely also super effective, and it somehow keeps my peel clear with simply a sparse layer. If I experience like my pare needs a piffling heave, I'll use the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Clay Mask ($25).
I'm fractional to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum ($92) and Avant-garde Night Repair Centre Serums ($65), which I've seen my mom use, and I always come back to them. I've ever lived in an "Estee" firm, and I have no complaints so far!
Helloooo Hydration
Because I layer a few products before my moisturizer, I experience like I can go away with very lightweight moisturizers, and I've been enjoying this new one past Caudalie Vinosource ($39).
There are a few to choose from in the line, simply the Vinosource Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid is perfect for very oily-skinned girls. It will definitely be my go-to in summer. The rest of the time I similar the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. It'southward a gel-cream formulation (looks and feels kind of like yogurt) that never feels too heavy or as well light!
Overall, I have oily-normal skin (except in summer, when it'south oilier), merely I will pat the Vinosource Wet Recovery Cream onto the tops of my cheeks, nose, and forehead — the areas that tend to get the driest for me. This i is my favorite of the agglomeration, even though I don't need information technology all over my face.
My i complaint most these moisturizers is the heavy fragrance. They have an unnatural floral, "herb" odor — like they weretrying to aroma fragrance-free. It's a shame, especially for a pare care line, but it isn't a bargain billow for me.
Promise you enjoyed this little look into my bathroom vanity!
What skin care take you lot been using lately?
See you in the next,
Anna
